Introduction

SongMAnager is a plugin to manage your song macros, sequences, pages and timecode. Easily create, rename or delete songs, and all their related items.

Create A Song

Name

This will be the name of your song. All elements (sequence, timecode, macro) will be labelled with this name.

Macro

This is the macro pool number which you wish to create your song activation macro at.

Sequence

This is the sequence pool number which you wish to create your song sequence at.

Page

This is the page number which you wish your song sequence to assign to.

Fader

This is the executor number which you wish your song sequence to assign to.

Timecode

This is the timecode pool number which you wish to create for your song.

BPM (BPM Times)

If you're using our BPMTimes plugin, SongMAnager can set the BPM of a song, so when you're programming, the BPM value can be used for cue/recipe/programmer timings.

Song ID

Song ID can be used as a unique identifier for each song you create. Use this variable to enhance your own workflow, such as creating views that are unique per song.

Template Sequence

When SongMAnager creates a new song, you can specify an existing sequence as a template for your new song. SongMAnager will copy the sequence and assign this for your new song.

Exec Configuration

You can specify which exec configuration you wish to use when assigning your newly created song sequence to a page. This allows users to have their exec configuration exactly as they'd expect for newly created songs.

Song Activation Macro

In some special cases, you may wish to specify a different song activation macro for certain songs. You can assign this here.

Rename A Song

To rename a song you've created using SongMAnager, enter the macro number, a new name, and then confirm. This will rename all of the pool elements for your song.

Delete A Song

To delete a song you've created using SongMAnager, enter the macro number and confirm to remove all pool elements associated to this song.
